Refund policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Fieldbook sells digital products: downloadable PDF guides that are delivered to you immediately after payment. Because a digital file can't be returned once you have it, this policy explains when we can and can't offer a refund.

Our general rule

All sales of digital products are final once the file has been downloaded. Please read each product description carefully before you buy; it sets out what the guide covers, its page count and what is included.

When we will give a refund

We will refund your purchase in full if:

  • The file is faulty. The PDF is corrupted, won't open, or is missing pages, and we can't fix the problem by sending you a working copy.
  • You didn't receive it. You paid but never received a download link, and we can't resend a working one.
  • You were charged twice. You bought the same guide more than once by mistake. We'll refund the duplicate order.
  • It isn't what we described. The guide is materially different from its product description.

If you haven't downloaded the file yet and change your mind, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we'll cancel the order and refund you in full.

When we can't give a refund

  • You have downloaded the file and simply changed your mind.
  • The guide didn't meet personal expectations that weren't part of its description.
  • You bought the wrong guide and have already downloaded it.

How to ask for a refund

Email us at jonathan.gan@fieldbookstore.com within 14 days of your purchase. Include your order number and a short description of the problem; for a faulty file, a screenshot of the error helps. We'll reply within 3 business days. In most cases we'll first send you a fresh copy of the file, and if that doesn't solve the problem we'll refund you.

Approved refunds are made to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, the money may take 5 to 10 business days to appear.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy affects any rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia).
